ONE PALETTEWhite, Black, Ivory, Almond, Grey, Brown, Graphite across devices, plates and switches, so a floor does not read as patchwork by room.
PLATE IN THE BOXT9602 1-Gang Duplex Receptacle Wallplate ships with the device.

20A 125V AC receptacle with a NEMA 5-20R face.

Part of the duplex and decorator receptacle line — UL/cUL listed models in 15A and 20A, drawn from one seven-finish palette across devices and plates.

Confirm before the PO
  • Match the plate opening to the face — duplex and decorator plates are not interchangeable.
  • 20A is a branch-circuit decision, not an upgrade: confirm the circuit, not the look.
  • TR/WR models still need the correct cover on the same order for a damp-location install.
What you get
  • 20A 125V NEMA 5-20R duplex receptacle with standard T-slot configuration
  • Non-tamper-resistant indoor outlet for placements where NEC 406.12 exceptions apply
  • T-slot geometry accepts both 15A and 20A compatible plug patterns
  • Built for heavy-duty indoor replacement, MRO sourcing, and dedicated equipment loads
  • Non-WR standard device format for dry-location applications only
  • Seven finish options support retrofit color matching across commercial and industrial interiors

Questions buyers ask about this model

TMDR20 — answered

TR is not called for on this job — is the standard model the right order?

It is a legitimate product for locations outside NEC 406.12, and this model is published as non-TR rather than presented as a substitute. Send us the project type with the order: if the application is residential, hospitality or public-access we will come back and confirm before quoting rather than ship a device that fails at inspection.

Can the 15A model be used instead of this 20A face?

Only if the branch circuit is 15A. The T-slot geometry of a NEMA 5-20R face exists so a 20A plug cannot be inserted into a 15A circuit — swapping the face is a circuit decision, and the two part numbers are not interchangeable on a schedule without the circuit changing with them.

What certification does this model carry?

The certification recorded for this model in our product data is: UL/cUL Listed. The quotation names the devices the certification covers, and where a line item does not carry a qualification in our data we will say so rather than present it as listed.

Do the finishes match the switches and plates?

Devices, plates and switches are drawn from one palette: White, Black, Ivory, Almond, Grey, Brown, Graphite. That is what keeps a unit turn from reading as a patchwork of whites by room, and it is why the colour is confirmed with the model list rather than after production starts. Availability is confirmed per model at quote stage.

What do you need to quote a unit turn?

The device schedule by room type and floor, with quantities per line. We return the model list, the face and finish per line, the plate cross-reference for each opening and the carton count — which is usually the number that decides the bid.

Answers above are specific to TMDR20; the model list, quantities and project type is what we need to quote it back in one business day.
