Buy the factory's output under your own brand
OEM tooling, ODM private label, retail-ready packaging and mixed containers, run from one plant in Lishui, Zhejiang for distributors, importers and brand owners buying UL/cUL wiring devices for the United States and Canada.
Four things a distributor or brand owner actually buys
Not a discount list. Each of these changes something about the product, the box or the paperwork, and each is quoted per program.
OEM tooling and ODM private label
Face markings, seven finishes, your brand on the device, the individual box and the master carton. Private-label orders ship with their own documentation set covering markings, packaging design and barcode assignments.
Retail-ready packaging
Individual box, inner carton and master carton produced to your approved specification, with UPC barcode integration and a carton identity your receiving system can book against.
Mixed containers
GFCI, USB, duplex, switches and plates on one booking, in stock cartons or private-label cartons, priced FOB Ningbo or Shanghai with CFR, CIF and DDP available.
Documents with every shipment
UL certificate, UL test report, commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and product submittal sheets travel with the order. Third-party inspection by SGS, BV or Intertek can be booked before loading.
Where to start, depending on what you are buying
From requirement to container in five steps
The sequence matters more than the dates: two of these steps gate the production run, and one is cheaper to raise before artwork than after it.
Category or target SKUs, approximate quantity, destination country and whether this is stock supply, OEM tooling or ODM private label. A sales engineer replies within one working day.
Existing molds carry OEM runs on our standard models. New tooling carries its own minimum because the cost is amortised across the order — the quote states which path you are on.
If your brand name has to be searchable in UL's directory, that is a Multiple Listing application. It belongs at quotation stage, because once artwork is approved it is a packaging redo.
Standard samples from existing molds ship in five working days. Production starts after the deposit and after the artwork and marking approval, not before.
Standard production is quoted at 25–35 days after deposit and artwork confirmation. Ocean freight runs 18–28 days from Ningbo or Shanghai to a US West Coast port; East Coast routing adds 10–14 days.
What we need from you before we can price it
A one-line inquiry gets a one-line answer. These six lines turn it into a program quote.
- Target models, or the function you are replacing, with the quantity you expect on the first order.
- Destination market and channel: distributor stock, retail program, contractor supply or a single project buy.
- Your brand assets and artwork files if the device, the box or the carton is to carry your name.
- The barcode numbers or GTIN assignment you want printed, and the label levels your DC requires.
- Whether your own company name needs to appear in UL's directory under your own entry.
- Inspection and audit requirements, so the window is booked before production ends instead of after.
The terms we quote rather than publish
We do not publish an MOQ table, and we will not invent one.
- Trade terms are quoted per program: FOB Ningbo or Shanghai, with CFR, CIF and DDP delivery to US and Canadian addresses.
- Payment: 30% T/T deposit with the order and 70% T/T before shipment; L/C at sight is negotiable on larger or returning accounts.
- Stock supply and OEM tooling are quoted on different minimums. The difference is tooling amortisation, not a volume discount.
- Sample cost and freight are usually charged and can be credited against the first production order.
What buyers ask before the first program order
Is SY Outlet the factory or a trading company?
A direct manufacturer. Injection molding, PCB assembly, device assembly, UL-required electrical testing, final inspection and packaging all run at our own plant in Lishui, Zhejiang — the address that appears on the listing record.
What is the difference between a wholesale stock order and an OEM program?
A stock order ships the catalog model in our cartons. An OEM program changes something about the product or its identity — face marking, finish, individual box, master carton, barcode — and the quote reflects the tooling, artwork and minimum that come with that change.
Can one purchase order mix families and finishes?
Yes. GFCI receptacles, USB outlets, duplex receptacles, switches and wall plates can ship on one booking, in any of the seven finishes, in stock cartons or private-label cartons.
Do you accept third-party inspection before shipment?
Yes. Pre-shipment inspection, in-process QC audits and social compliance audits can all be scheduled, and SGS, BV and Intertek have all been hosted on site. Book the window through the sales team so it lands inside the production schedule.
Which markets do you supply?
The United States and Canada. The lines are UL and cUL listed to UL 943, UL 498 and UL 20, with UL 514D where it applies to wall plates — the coverage those markets require for installation under NEC and CSA codes.
Send the list, get the package back
Model list, quantities and project type is all we need to start. The quotation comes back in one business day with the specification sheet for each line item, the listing reference it holds and the packing detail for the DC — one document, not four.
