Ordering & terms
What should I include in a first inquiry?

The product category or target SKUs, approximate quantity, destination country, and whether you are buying stock supply, OEM tooling or ODM private label. Add the application if the device has to meet a specific location requirement. A sales engineer replies within one business day with preliminary pricing and sample options.

What payment and trade terms do you work to?

Standard terms are 30% T/T deposit with the order and the 70% balance before shipment. For larger or repeat orders, L/C at sight can be discussed. Trade terms include FOB Ningbo or Shanghai, CFR, CIF, and DDP delivery to addresses in the United States and Canada.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

It depends on the family and on whether the order uses existing moulds or new OEM tooling. Standard SKUs can start at trial quantities; OEM programs with custom tooling start higher because the tooling has to be amortised. The exact minimum is confirmed with your preliminary quote rather than published as a table.

Can you combine families in one order?

Yes. GFCI, USB outlets, receptacles, switches and wall plates ship together, so a project does not have to run five separate lead times or five sets of shipping documents.

Do you quote to contractors, or only to distributors?

Both, and to project buyers and brand owners as well. What changes is the program rather than the product range — the documentation set, sample policy and pricing structure are the same starting point.

Documentation & compliance
How can I verify your UL listing myself?

The record is public. Create a free UL Product iQ account, search the manufacturer name from your quotation, and read the record: applicant, manufacturing location, product category code and the model designations the file covers. Then check that your SKU falls inside those designations and that the manufacturing address matches your quotation and the country-of-origin marking.

What documents come with a shipment?

The UL certificate and test report, commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, and the submittal sheets for the models on the order. Private-label orders add the face marking, packaging artwork and UPC files issued under your brand.

Can I get the specification sheet for a model before ordering?

Yes, and without asking. Every one of the 54 models has a printable sheet built from the data we hold, including an explicit list of the fields that model does not carry. The signed PDF version follows with the quotation.

Which standard applies to my model?

GFCI receptacles are listed to UL 943, USB wall outlets and duplex receptacles to UL 498, wall switches to UL 20, and wall plates to UL 514D where applicable. Canada-bound orders carry cUL listing on the same families. The standard is printed on the model's sheet and on the listing record.

Why is there no certificate image on this site?

A scanned certificate is easy to copy and impossible to keep current, and it tells you less than the live record does. The file number travels with your quotation, and you can check it in UL Product iQ yourself — that is the version that cannot go out of date.

Samples & lead times
How fast does a quote come back?

Within one business day of a complete inquiry — category or SKUs, quantity, destination and buying mode. Incomplete inquiries get a question back instead of a guess.

When can I get samples?

Samples from existing moulds ship in about five working days once the configuration is confirmed. Sample cost and freight are normally charged and credited against the first production order.

What is the production lead time?

Standard production runs 25–35 days after deposit and artwork confirmation. OEM programs with new tooling start from the tooling date rather than the order date, which is why tooling decisions move the calendar more than the monthly capacity figure does.

How long does shipping take?

FOB Ningbo or Shanghai to a West Coast port runs 18–28 days. East Coast destinations add 10–14 days. CFR, CIF and DDP terms are available if you would rather we handle the movement.

What are your working hours?

Sales and engineering cover Monday to Saturday. WhatsApp messages are monitored during working hours, which is the fastest channel for a question that needs a drawing or a photo in reply.

The devices
What does self-test actually do on a GFCI?

The device runs its own ground-fault sensing circuit periodically and locks out the reset if the circuit fails, rather than waiting for someone to press the test button. On our GFCI receptacles this is automatic, and a failed self-test leaves the device unable to reset.

When is weather-resistant required instead of standard

WR construction belongs on devices exposed to the weather — exterior walls, garages, patios, pump rooms. It is a location requirement rather than an upgrade: a standard device in a wet location fails the inspection regardless of brand. Our WR models are listed in the model data with their WR status stated.

Tamper-resistant or standard — which do I need?

Dwelling units in most jurisdictions require tamper-resistant receptacles in the locations named by the code. TR shutters are a construction feature, not a cover, and they do not interfere with normal plug insertion. Our TR status is published per model.

Which USB output do I need for a guest room?

For a bedside or desk location, 20W PD covers phones and most tablets; 36W GaN and 65W PD models are specified where laptops are expected to charge without an adapter brick. All of the USB models share one wall box, so the choice is about the output rather than the footprint.

Do GFCI and USB functions conflict?

No — combination devices carry both on one faceplate, which is common in kitchens, bathrooms and hotel desks. What changes is the box depth needed behind the device.

Packaging & barcodes
What is the default case pack?

GFCI and USB models ship 1-10-50: individual box, inner carton of 10, master carton of 50, with the plate, screws and instruction sheet included. Standard receptacles and switches ship without a retail box, 20 per inner and 200 per master carton.

Can the pack count be changed?

Yes, within reason — the per-model carton count is not settled on our side yet, so confirm the count you need when quoting rather than after the artwork is approved.

Do you print UPC and EAN barcodes?

Yes. Barcode assignment and printing are part of the retail and private-label packaging workflow, and the barcode files are issued under your brand for private-label orders.

What are the carton marking rules?

Carton marking rules per program are being confirmed on our side. Send the marking you need on the master carton and we will confirm what the line can print before artwork approval.

OEM & private label
What can carry my brand?

Four surfaces are in scope: the device face marking, the finish, the individual box, and the master carton. Most private-label programs change more than the print on the face, which is why the marking and packaging files are settled before production.

Whose UL file number appears on a private-label device?

Ours. The file number points to the company that submitted the basic product for testing and signed the Follow-Up Service agreement, which is the manufacturer. Seeing our name rather than yours in the directory is the normal OEM structure, not a missing certification.

Can my own company name appear in the UL directory?

Yes, through Multiple Listing. Your company is added as a Multiple Listee on our file: you file the application with UL, we authorise it, and your company and brand can then appear under your own directory entry while the test data and Follow-Up Service stay with us. The fee and the timeline belong to UL.

How do I know which models can be private-labelled?

Start with the models whose moulds are already cut — nothing new has to be tooled, so the variables are the marking, the finish and the carton. The wholesale section covers the program in detail.

Send the list, get the package back

Model list, quantities and project type is all we need to start. The quotation comes back in one business day with the specification sheet for each line item, the listing reference it holds and the packing detail for the DC — one document, not four.
