What this line covers

One Class A self-test platform, ten configurations

Everything on this page comes off the same GFCI platform: Class A ground-fault protection at a 5 mA ±1 mA trip level, automatic self-test with reset lockout on failure, and a 15A or 20A receptacle face in 125V. What changes between the ten models is the configuration a project schedule actually specifies — the amperage, whether the face is tamper-resistant, whether the body is built for damp locations, and whether USB charging sits in the same wall box.

We build all four combinations because bids rarely come in clean. A hospitality renovation typically needs 15A TR in the guest rooms, 20A in the back-of-house kitchen circuits, WR at the exterior receptacles, and USB in the rooms that were flagged for it — four different line items that a buyer would rather source, document and load as one order than four.

Read this page as a packaging page, not a catalogue page. The grid above gives you the faces; the sections below give you what to put on one PO, what to declare on a submittal, and what to confirm before the container is booked.

Configure the package, not the part number

Most rejected submittals are not wrong products — they are the right product in the wrong mix. Work down this table when the schedule arrives.

What the schedule saysWhat to put on the POWhy buyers get this wrong
Dwelling units, guest rooms, dorms15A TR — TST15, or UWTST15 / UCWTST15 where USB is speccedNon-TR still ships to projects where NEC 406.12 applies; the inspector catches it, not the buyer.
Kitchen, laundry, garage branch circuits20A TR — TST20, TSTW20 family20A is a branch-circuit decision, not an upgrade. A 20A face on a 15A circuit fails the same inspection as the reverse.
Exterior walls, patios, pool equipment, garage exteriorsWR — WTST15 / WTST20, plus the correct coverWR is not waterproof. The receptacle is half the assembly — the cover is the other half and is usually a separate line.
Hospitality, offices, student housing with device chargingGFCI + USB — UWTST (dual USB-A) or UCWTST (USB-C + USB-A)Buyers price a USB strip plus a GFCI separately, then discover the wall box does not have room for both devices.
Distributor shelf stock15A TR + 20A TR as the two base SKUs, WR and USB as depthStocking all ten faces ties up cash; the two TR faces cover most counter demand.
Three combinations that come back as returns
  • “Standard GFCI” written in an RFQ — it usually means a non-USB, non-WR face, not a non-self-test device. Every model here is self-test; confirm what the buyer actually meant before quoting.
  • WR specified without a cover line — the receptacle will be correct and the install still fails. Ask for the cover and the box.
  • Colour only confirmed at carton stage — devices and plates are drawn from one palette, but availability is confirmed per model. Lock the colour with the model, not after production.
Listings & documents

What you can put in front of an inspector

Distributors and project buyers don't just need the device — they need the paperwork that lets a submittal pass without a second round. These are the documents we hold for this line and can send with a quotation.

  • UL 943 Ed. 6 Certificate of Compliance — report reference E475505, covering 20A and 15A/20A combination ground-fault circuit-interrupters. Certificate numbers 4139112037-2 and 4139112037-3.
  • cUL / Canada coverage — the same listing covers Canada under CSA C22.2 No. 42.1-19.
  • Quality and environmental system certificates — ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 for the Lishui plant.
  • Specification sheets per model, with the electrical and construction data transcribed from the same source as this page — no marketing estimates.
  • Packing and carton marking detail — case pack, carton dimensions and barcode layout for DC receiving.

One caveat we keep visible: our wall plate line is not claimed as UL 514D listed. If your submittal needs that listing for the plates, tell us before we quote and we will confirm what we can provide rather than issue a certificate number we don't hold.

For submittals

Send us the device schedule and the code edition your authority having jurisdiction has adopted. We will return the model list, the listing references for each line item, and the packing detail — as one document you can drop into the submittal package.

Before the first order

Procurement questions we get asked most

What is the minimum order for a mixed GFCI order?

Mixed orders are the normal case, not an exception — 15A TR, 20A TR, WR and USB combinations can share one order and one container. The practical minimum is set by the container or LCL you book rather than by a per-model floor, so send the model list with quantities and we will tell you whether it loads sensibly or should grow to fill the box.

Can 15A and 20A models ship in the same carton?

They are different devices with different faces, so they are packed as separate line items and separate cartons — a DC receiving team scanning a mixed carton is a receiving error waiting to happen. What they can share is the pallet, the container and the paperwork.

How many finishes can I mix in one order, and do the plates match?

Devices and wall plates are drawn from one palette, so a plate ordered with its device will match. Colour availability is confirmed per model when you quote — some models carry the full range and some do not, which is why we ask for the colour at the same time as the model and not after production.

The RFQ does not say TR or non-TR. What do you do?

We come back and ask. Non-TR is a legitimate product for exempt and non-dwelling applications, but it is not a safe default for housing and public-use projects, and a wrong guess on our side costs you a rejected submittal. If the project type is unclear we will quote the TR configuration and flag the assumption in writing.

Does the device come with the wall plate and the screws?

Yes — the plate is part of the device line item for this range, and the mounting screws ship with it. If you need plates packed separately for a distributor program, that is a packaging instruction you can set on the order rather than something you buy twice.

What is the lead time from PO to loading?

Production runs 25–35 days depending on the mix and the colour confirmation, and samples are around five working days. The two things that move the date are colour confirmation and whether the packaging artwork is already approved — both are worth closing before the PO rather than during production.

Put them next to each other

Tick any models in the comparison tool and only the differences get highlighted — amperage, NEMA configuration, TR/WR, USB output. Then send the shortlist as one RFQ.

Send the list, get the package back

Model list, quantities and project type is all we need to start. The quotation comes back in one business day with the specification sheet for each line item, the listing reference it holds and the packing detail for the DC — one document, not four.
