The factory behind the part numbers
We build wiring devices for North America and nothing else — five families, 54 catalogue models, one plant in Zhejiang. That focus is the reason the specification sheets, the listing references and the packaging files arrive together instead of in three separate emails.
Eight facts, and where each one can be checked
Nothing here needs to be taken on trust: the listing is public in the UL directory, the paperwork travels with the shipment, and the audits can be scheduled through your sales engineer.

| Founded | 2006 |

| Primary markets | United States, Canada |
| Factory location | Zhejiang, China (Lishui) |

One figure here is a ceiling, not a promise: the 500,000+ number is the top of the range across families. Factory & capacity breaks it down line by line.
Five families, and the standard each one is listed to
Devices and plates come from the same palette, so a guest room or a unit turn gets one consistent finish instead of mismatched whites.

What a factory has to own to be called one
These six steps run in our plant. If a supplier cannot tell you the same list for your own product line, that is worth a second question.
- Injection moulding on our own tooling, plus customer-supplied tooling for private-label and OEM programs
- PCB assembly for the GFCI, USB and self-test electronics
- Device assembly and calibration on automated lines
- UL-required electrical functional testing — in line on GFCI units
- In-process QC checks and final inspection before every shipment
- Packaging: retail and bulk, private-label artwork, UPC printing
Four functions that decide whether a container ships on time
The useful part of a factory profile is not the floor space — it is which of these four you can hold someone to.
Injection moulding with in-house and customer tooling, PCB assembly, device calibration, and process coordination for standard and OEM orders.
UL 943, UL 498 and UL 20 related electrical testing, in-process QC checks, and final inspection before every shipment.
25–35 day standard production lead time and 500,000+ monthly units across core SKUs for distributor and project supply.
Retail and bulk packaging workflows, OEM private-label integration, UPC barcode printing, and shipment-ready documentation.
Reviewed by the team that builds the product
The ShengYu Engineering Team writes and reviews the technical pages here — GFCI receptacles, USB receptacles, standard receptacles, switches and plates for the North American market. The material comes from product engineering, factory documentation, quality control and submittal review, not from second-hand research.
Where a page leans on an outside document, the reference is named: NFPA, UL Solutions, UL Standards & Engagement, IAEI, CSA Group, CPSC, OSHA, and the manufacturer installation documentation that ships with the device.
Pages are updated when the underlying standard, code edition, certification scope or product documentation changes, and the last-updated date on the page reflects the most recent substantive review.
- Product ratings, wiring method and packaging come from the model data behind the specification sheets on this site.
- Certification statements are limited to what the listing record supports; where a scope is not confirmed, the page says so instead of rounding up.
- Standards references are checked against the current edition in force for the jurisdictions we ship to.
What we do not publish here
We would rather leave a line empty than fill it with a number nobody checked.
- This page covers who we are and what we make. Capacity by family, audits and the equipment list sit on Factory & capacity, and the document set sits on Quality & certifications.

Send the list, get the package back
Model list, quantities and project type is all we need to start. The quotation comes back in one business day with the specification sheet for each line item, the listing reference it holds and the packing detail for the DC — one document, not four.
