Check that the installed device has one large rectangular face, such as a GFCI receptacle, USB outlet, smart outlet, or decorator-style receptacle.
Use Standard for clean installations, Mid-Size for light wall marks, or Jumbo when wider retrofit coverage is needed.
Make sure the receptacle is mounted straight and sits at the correct depth before installing the wallplate.
Place the wallplate over the device so the large rectangular opening frames the receptacle face evenly.
Tighten the mounting screws evenly until the plate sits flat. Do not over-tighten on uneven drywall.
